Here’s something more for 1 Peter 2:21 thought and prayer. In All the Books and Chapters of the Bible, Herbert Lockyer (1886–1984) said this about Jesus’s power to bear us:
Christ is not only the sign-post pointing the way; He is also the power to bear us over every God-directed road. A Christ-like life is only possible as the life of Christ possesses us.
