Here’s something more for 1 John 3:3 thought and prayer. In his Bible Handbook, Henry Halley (1874–1965) said this about two essentially different ways of life:
There are two essentially different ways of life: the way of Christ and the way of sin. In our heart we belong to one or the other, but not to both.
